Huikka is my 4 year old bitch. Mainly we are training for hunting tests and additionally obedience. She is a simple toller, that makes training her fairly simple. She can be motivated with praise only and also with treats. She trusts all people fully and gets along with kids as well. She is a very nice dog around the house, when having the possibility to train and practice regularly. She is a lively dog, but knows how to stay calm when for example training with others and it is not her turn. Huikka is a bitch on the smaller side with ok structure. She is light but durable. Her small size is compensated with guts and a good engine within. Huikka's litter mates are healthy, few has had a hernia. 7 out of 8 puppies have results in hunting tests. In obedience besides Huikka 3 have competed, one has 1st price in elite and two have first prices in open class. One litter mate has started in game tracking with an 2nd price in open class. All her litter mates in general are, as Huikka, lively, ready to work and like to please their handlers. They have mainly "very good" prices in shows, few have also excellents. Daisy, dam of Huikka, is brought from Canada by Annina Nurmikivi (Redadict) and owned by Laura Raekannas. Daisy has been competing with Annina in retriever tests and working tests. She has in retriever tests a first price in open class and in WT a second price in winner class. With Laura she is compiting successfully in obedience. She is Finnish obedience champion and she was placed in the Finnish championships 2014 in obedience on 15. place (out of over 100 participants), being for example the only retreiver in finals. She has passed also the behaviour test (BH). 3 littermates of Daisy are working in govermental positions, e.g. in customs in Canada. The father of Huikka, Boots, is a Canadian Champion and has been competing in hunting tests. While he was in Germany for few years, he started in hunting tests also, in Sweden where he has a second price from open class in tolling tests.

Twist is 8 years old Swedish healthy male. He has four litters in Sweden and one in Norway, his offspring has been healthy so far. They have results in various hunting tests, e.g. 3 x approved retrieving test in Sweden (with game), 3 x approved retrieving test in Norway (no game), two dogs has also 1st price in the beginner class of tollingjaktprov. Additionally they compete succesfully in various dos sports, for example obedience, agility, rally-obedience, bloodtracking & freestyle. In the same litter as Twist all except one have results in hunting tests. The owner of Twist decribes him as follows: "He has a pretty high drive but is very balanced and it's easy for him to concentrate. His focus is his great advantage, and then it becomes easy to solve tasks. He is also a dog with a high level of cooperation, a lot of will to please, there is nothing better than when the owner is happy. But he's not a weak dog, when we train together and I am not happy with him, and as usual forgets to be educational and yells at him that he must "get his act together and do better", he just does it. He just tries harder so he can succeed with the task, no sorrows. He can work very independently when needed, in the field and at marking. That is nothing that I have shaped or had to work with, he has been such from the start. Twist has also a fairly easy mind, trying not to think things out in advance as many Tollers do. I belive that is one of the reasons he has been easy to direct both on land and on water. He has a very strong will to retrieve, maybe that is why picking up birds/games of any kind never has been a problem." I met Twist and he left a very positive picture of himself. He was social towards strangers and was able to calm down after saying hello. Twist was also silent and calm when working and clearly worked happily for his handler.
